One of the vision statements for First B is to become an increasing influence in our public school system. Our desire is to provide prayer coverage for every school in Modesto and surrounding areas. Some people prayer walk their schools. Some are in personal contact with the principal regularly. Some pray for their schools from home. Some pray in groups. Some pray with their families. Some pray individually. The specifics of how you pray isn't important. The only thing that matters is that people are spending time talking to God about the students, teachers and administrators of every school in our area.
If you'd like to receive the monthly newsletter via e-mail, or if you'd like to sign up to pray for a school, please contact Audrey.
This month's newsletter:
Please pray for these needs:
Pray for the believing teachers and administrators - that their lives would glorify the Father and bless those around them.
Pray for children during, for most, the last month of school and testing.
Pray for our students, that they would invite their friends to church and church activities at First Baptist.
If you have any suggestions for items we should be praying about as a group, let me know.
Please pray for the people who are involved in our public schools and who attend First Baptist. This month's group of people to bless is as follows:
1. Linda Chrabas 2. Jill Cicinato 3. Linda Cipponeri 4. Lisa Clark 5. Debbie Cogzill 6. Mark Conway 7. Matt Conway 8. Gail Cormier 9. Mike Corsaut 10. Teresa Corsaut
If you know of any teachers who are missing from our list let me know.
Thanks for praying for our schools! So that you will know who we are as a group; here is a list of the prayer partners and their schools:

Also, please email me with any praises that you would like to share with the group. By being in touch with a teacher and/or the principal of your school you will be current with the prayer needs. Let us know how God answers your prayers. It would be a great encouragement to us all.
God bless you, Audrey Rowe
Phil. 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. |
