Prodigal Sons & Daughters (PSD), founded by Ken and Jane Meuers in 1997, is a Christian ministry for young people seeking recovery from substance abuse. Prodigal Sons and Daughters offers an alternative to traditional recovery programs and increases the length of the program to six months, a year or longer. In 2002 PSD expanded their facilities to include meeting rooms, offices, a club house ("Jeremy's House"), a swimming pool, tennis and basketballs courts, a BBQ courtyard and plenty of parking. PSD aims to reduce adolescent substance abuse, assists individuals in coping with fundamental problems that lead to addiction and offers free family counseling.
