 Don and Joan Heck have been working with FamilyLife Spain (De Familia a Familia) for more than 15 years. The break-up of families in Spain has risen 60% in the last years, and situations of divorce, separation, unfaithfulness, violence and diversity of family models lead people to search for answers, hope and direction. Don and Joan view De Familia a Familia as "a unique opportunity to connect and help people build strong healthy relationships." Less than four tenths of one percent of people in Spain are evangelical believers, and Spain continues to be a mission field not only for Spaniards, but also for the growing immigrant population from Muslim North Africa, South America and Africa.
