Phil and Peggy Arendt Partners International
First Baptist Church, Modesto, was Phil and Peggy's ministry training ground, where Phil served on the pastoral staff for 15 years. Next, the Lord led them to Ethiopia where they equipped Ethiopian cross cultural missionaries to serve throughout Ethiopia and in neighboring countries.
Since 2000, Phil and Peggy Arendt have been serving the Lord with Partners International, headquartered in Spokane, WA, where Phil is Vice President of Ministry Development. What a privilege it is to work with some of God's champions around the world! Phil provides leadership in discovering and connecting training resources to strengthen Partners International's 50 indigenous ministries in the least Christian regions of the world. Through local, regional, national and international events, he presents and networks with other ministries to provide culturally appropriate training in church planting, community development, leadership equipping, organizational development and women's/children's ministry.
Since 2002, Peggy has worked in the local public schools as an English as a Second Language paraeducator.
Phil and Peggy have been married since 1978. They have three children: sons Peter and Eric, who are currently students at the University of Washington, and a high school age daughter, Michelle.
