Kid Country

Your children will find a class designed just for their ages where they'll be cared for and accepted. They'll learn how much God loves them through stories, music, media and activities.

When you come on a weekend, come to the Visitor Center and we'll help you find the right classroom for your child. (If your child is under three, there's a Visitor Center dedicated just to them on the lower level of the Pavilion.)

Early Childhood (birth-two years)

Loving leaders, safe surroundings and fun age-appropriate activities make each child's experience a positive one.

Preschool (three years-kindergarten)

Preschoolers enjoy learning about Jesus in the Kid Country Ark and the Lighthouse. They also love to play in the fenced, grassy play yard.

Early Elementary (grades 1 & 2)

During the 9 am service Early Elementary children meet in Sunday school class according to grade. These classes are designed to introduce kids to the day’s Bible topic in a setting that gives them individualized attention from their teachers and plenty of interaction with their peers. Children learn how to live like Jesus as they discuss real-life experiences, interact with peers and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles. Life application, memory verse activities and prayer are always a part of this hands-on time.

During the 10:45 am service children attend Harpo Avenue. This interactive large-group setting is designed to engage children in the day’s Bible topic and includes live drama, music and puppets. As in the 9 am service, life application, memory verse activities, prayer and games are a part of each morning. Those children who attended their 9 am class are escorted to the Social Hall by Kid Country helpers and can be picked up after the service in the Social Hall. Those children who only come for the 10:45 am service may be dropped off in the Social Hall.

Tweenagers (grades 3-5)

During the 9 am service, tweenagers meet in a team based on grade and gender. These small groups are designed to introduce kids to the day’s Bible topic in a setting that gives them individualized attention from their leader and plenty of interaction with a small group of their peers. The students learn how to live like Jesus as they discuss real-life experiences, interact with this close-knit group of peers and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles. Life application, memory verse activities and prayer are always a part of this hands-on time.

During the 10:45 am service tweenagers attend Worship The Rock. This interactive large-group setting is designed to encourage students to worship like Jesus and includes music, prayer and an innovative approach to the Bible story. As in the 9 am service, the day’s topic, life application, memory verse activities and games are a part of each morning.

Before kids leave 5th grade, we want them to understand three basic truths:

Faith—I can trust God no matter what
Wisdom—I need to make the wise choice
Friendship—I should treat others the way I want to be treated
